Hi, I’m Keely
I’m a bookseller and freelance editor. I’ve worked with publishing houses, individual clients and authors on varying stages of their manuscripts, from beta reading and manuscript assessments to developmental and copy edits.
I have a deep love for all kinds of stories, including speculative fiction, weird and dreamlike literary fiction, queer and poly romance, and female rage and anti-capitalist stories.

Manuscript Assessment
A detailed, encouraging and honest report discussing the entire manuscript, going over:
→ what works and what needs development
→ what stage the manuscript is in and what the next steps are
→ where the manuscript fits in the publishing world in terms of market, audience and comp titles
Sample Edit
An edit of the first pages of the manuscript to help determine:
→ what level of editing the manuscript requires (developmental or copyediting)
→ if you like my editing style
